NN777 Baccarat Card Counting
Baccarat card counting does not work the way blackjack counting does.
NN777 Five Card Draw
Five card draw deals every player five private cards, runs a betting round, lets each player discard and replace some cards in the draw, then runs a second betting round and a showdown.
NN777 Hi Lo Card Game
In a hi lo card game you bet whether the next card is higher or lower than the one showing.
NN777 How to Play Pusoy
To play pusoy, you take 13 cards and arrange into a 3-card front hand and two 5-card hands, middle and back.
NN777 Martingale Baccarat
A martingale in baccarat doubles the stake after each loss, so a ₱100 unit needs ₱6,400 on the seventh bet.
NN777 Pontoon Card Game
The pontoon card game is a 21-point game like blackjack, but both dealer cards are customarily face down, hitting is called twist, standing is stick, and a pontoon or five-card trick pays more than an ordinary win.
NN777 Sic Bo Strategy
A sic bo strategy is a choice of bets, not a pattern: three dice give 216 outcomes, and on the example payouts Small and Big cost the least per peso staked, at 2.78%.
NN777 Texas Hold Em
Texas hold em gives each player two private cards, then deals five shared cards in three stages: the flop, the turn and the river.

A deck has four card suits, spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs, each with 13 cards, which makes 52. What matters at a table is whether the suit decides anything. This page gives the Filipino order for pusoy dos, shows the games where suits never rank, and lists card values for the games that count points. It belongs to the table games list by game type, so each rule here matches what the other pages assume.

The four card suits and how Filipino games rank them

Pusoy dos is the Filipino game where suits matter most, because equal ranks must be broken by suit. The common order at Filipino tables, from lowest to highest, is below. Bridge uses a different order, so groups should agree on one before they deal.

SuitColourPusoy dos order (low to high)Bridge order (low to high)
ClubsBlack1st1st
SpadesBlack2nd4th
HeartsRed3rd3rd
DiamondsRed4th2nd

A tie between two cards of the same rank is settled by the suit order, so the 5 of diamonds beats the 5 of hearts in pusoy dos. In the same game, the rank order runs 3 up to king, then ace, with 2 as the highest rank of all.

Card ranking: where a suit decides and where it never does

Card ranking means two things: the order of the 13 ranks and the order of the four suits. These games treat suits differently.

  1. Pusoy dos: suits break ties between equal ranks.
  2. Pusoy (3-5-5 hands): suits matter only for making a flush.
  3. Texas hold em and five card draw: no suit outranks another, and equal hands split the pot.
  4. Baccarat and blackjack: suits are ignored entirely.

In poker the ace is high, and it also counts low in the straight A-2-3-4-5. In pusoy dos the 2 is highest. If you play both, watch which rank order the table uses.

Card values for the games that count points

Card values apply to games where you add up a total. The numbers differ by game, so memorise the one you play.

CardBlackjack and pontoonBaccarat
2 to 9Face valueFace value
10, J, Q, K100
Ace1 or 111

In baccarat a hand’s total is the last digit of the sum, so 7 plus 8 makes 15, which counts as 5. In blackjack and pontoon you aim for 21, and an ace can be high or low as it suits the hand.

Suits, values and the bets built on them

Card values drive the betting myths too. Baccarat’s totals are the reason players try a baccarat martingale on card totals, and the point values are what a counting scheme tries to track in baccarat card counting and card values. Neither changes the fixed rules of the deal; each is a way of staking.

For any game on a lobby tile, open the game’s own rules screen. It states the card values and the payout for each result.
