NN777 Table Games List — 10 Games, Their Rules and Their Odds

A table games list covers the card and dice games played against a dealer or other players: pusoy, hold em, five card draw, pontoon, hi-lo, baccarat, sic bo, blackjack, roulette and Dragon Tiger.

Playing cards laid out in rows on red felt
NN777 How to Play Pusoy
To play pusoy, you take 13 cards and arrange into a 3-card front hand and two 5-card hands, middle and back.
NN777 Texas Hold Em
Texas hold em gives each player two private cards, then deals five shared cards in three stages: the flop, the turn and the river.
NN777 Card Suits
A standard deck has four card suits, spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs, with 13 cards each.
NN777 Baccarat Card Counting
Baccarat card counting does not work the way blackjack counting does.
NN777 Five Card Draw
Five card draw deals every player five private cards, runs a betting round, lets each player discard and replace some cards in the draw, then runs a second betting round and a showdown.
NN777 Martingale Baccarat
A martingale in baccarat doubles the stake after each loss, so a ₱100 unit needs ₱6,400 on the seventh bet.
NN777 Pontoon Card Game
The pontoon card game is a 21-point game like blackjack, but both dealer cards are customarily face down, hitting is called twist, standing is stick, and a pontoon or five-card trick pays more than an ordinary win.
NN777 Hi Lo Card Game
In a hi lo card game you bet whether the next card is higher or lower than the one showing.
NN777 Sic Bo Strategy
A sic bo strategy is a choice of bets, not a pattern: three dice give 216 outcomes, and on the example payouts Small and Big cost the least per peso staked, at 2.78%.

A table games list sorts every card, dice and wheel game by one question: who are you playing against, and what do you decide? This page lists ten games, gives the rule that makes each different, and shows the arithmetic behind the odds you can work out yourself. Nothing here needs a login.

You get a comparison table first, then where the NN777 lobby keeps its card and live tables, then the rules and odds in plain numbers.

Where the NN777 lobby keeps its table games

The lobby menu has a CARD Games item and a LIVE Casino item. CARD Games lists eight tiles: TP, R88, JILI, KM, FTG, BSP, V8 and 1BET. LIVE Casino lists nine: TP Live, EVO Live, SE Live, SA Live, DG Live, MT Live, ON Live, WM Live and Lucky99 Live.

Which tile holds a given game is for you to read, not for this page to promise. Use this routine on any tile.

  1. Open the tile from the menu.
  2. Pick one table or room and open its info or rules screen before you stake.
  3. Read the paytable and the bet limits on that screen.
  4. Watch two or three rounds without betting.
  5. Set your bet unit, then play.

For a tour of the whole menu, the NN777 casino lobby menu tour lists every item in the top bar and the main menu. Live dealer rooms have their own page: the NN777 live table studios.

Card game rules in one minute each

Rules of public card games are customary, and a numbered list is the fastest way to compare them. Each entry gives the core rule and, where this site has a page, the next step.

  1. Pusoy. You get 13 cards and set them into a front hand of 3 cards and a middle and back hand of 5 cards each. The back must be at least as strong as the middle, and the middle at least as strong as the front. Learn the set-up in how to play pusoy with three hands.
  2. Texas hold em. Two private cards, five shared cards, best five-card hand wins. Betting runs through the blinds, flop, turn and river; see blinds and streets in Texas hold em.
  3. Five card draw. Five private cards, one chance to swap some of them, then a showdown. Play five card draw round by round for the ante-to-showdown order.
  4. Pontoon. A blackjack relative with its own names for hands and its own payout table. Pontoon card game versus blackjack shows the differences.
  5. Hi-lo. A card is shown and you call the next one higher or lower. The hi lo card game explained covers how the price changes with the card on view.
  6. Baccarat. Two hands, Player and Banker, closest to a total of 9 wins. Why a baccarat martingale hits table limits and what baccarat card counting can change take on the two most common betting myths.
  7. Sic bo. Three dice, and you back totals, pairs or single numbers. Sic bo strategy and its limits works the arithmetic of three dice.
  8. Blackjack. Reach 21 without going over and beat the dealer’s hand. The dealer’s fixed rules mean your only choices are hit, stand, double or split.
  9. Roulette. A ball lands in one of 37 pockets on a single-zero wheel or 38 on a double-zero wheel. You choose which pockets to cover.
  10. Dragon Tiger. One card goes to Dragon and one to Tiger, and the higher card wins. A tie is a separate bet.

Casino poker games versus poker-room play

Casino poker games and poker-room games share the same hand rankings and almost nothing else. The difference is who is across the table and who earns from the round.

If a lobby tile offers a poker variant, open its rules screen and the answer to “which kind is this” is on it. For the full flow of a hold em hand, go to Texas hold em from blinds to showdown. Sa Tagalog, “paano maglaro ng poker” starts with that same blinds-and-streets order.

Best odds casino games: the arithmetic

House edge is the average share of each stake the casino keeps. You can derive it yourself when the outcomes are countable, so here are two worked examples with a round stake of ₱100.

Roulette, even-money bet. On a single-zero wheel 18 of 37 pockets win and 19 lose. The result is (18 × ₱100 − 19 × ₱100) ÷ 37 = −₱2.70 per ₱100, a 2.70 percent edge. On a double-zero wheel the pockets are 38 and 20 lose, so the figure is −₱200 ÷ 38 = −₱5.26, a 5.26 percent edge.

Sic bo, Big bet at 1 to 1. Of the 216 outcomes of three dice, 105 are totals from 11 to 17 that are not a triple, and 111 lose, because the triples 444 and 555 also lose. That is (105 − 111) × ₱100 ÷ 216 = −₱2.78 per ₱100, a 2.78 percent edge, if the table pays 1 to 1.

Baccarat, blackjack and pontoon edges depend on the table’s paytable and rule set, so compare them by reading each table’s own rules screen. Poker-room games carry no house edge on your bets; the rake is the price of the seat.

Card suits and values before you sit down

Every game above uses the same 52 cards: 4 suits of 13 ranks, which is where 2,598,960 possible five-card hands come from. Suits decide hands in some Filipino games and never in others. Card suits and how Filipino games rank them sets out the order for pusoy dos and compares it with poker.

Choosing your first table

A good first table is one you can describe to a friend after watching three rounds. Stake size matters as much as the game: bet unit meaning for staking explains how to size a stake as a slice of your session budget.

  1. Choose one game from the list above.
  2. Read its rules screen, then its limits.
  3. Decide your bet unit and the session budget before the first round.
  4. Stop at the budget you set.
